The Year 14 students were jubilant on receipt of their Post 16 examination results this morning. The entire Erne Integrated College community are overjoyed with their achievement and success. Overall, 70% of students achieved 3 x A* - C grades.
The Principal, Jimmy Jackson-Ware stated that he is immensely proud of all the Year 14 students who received their examination results today. Their achievement is the result of 2 years of dedication, commitment and hard work. They should justifiably bask in the warm rosy glow of success. Top achievers include James Armstrong 1 x A* & 2 x A grades, Jana Miller 1 x Distinction * & 2 x A grades, Jasmin Walls 3 x A grades, Jack McKee 1 x A*, 1 x A & 1 x B grade and Oisin Hill 1 x Distinction*, 1 x A, & 2 x B grades. The majority of the students are going to university to study a wide variety of degree courses ranging from veterinary medicine and pharmacy to music technology. Some are destined for university in England while approximately one third will be attending The Queen’s University of Belfast.
He went on to say that he is also pleased that some have chosen local Foundation Degree courses with their education partner, South West Regional College. Mr Jackson-Ware said that Erne Integrated College is very much a family of parents, students and staff and by working as a supportive family they ensure that all students achieve their best.
