Erne Integrated College Students Meet Prince Harry at The MAC Belfast.

Erne Integrated College are enthusiastic participants in the Amazing The Space.  This is a youth-led peacebuilding initiative that empowers young people across Northern Ireland, to become ambassadors for peace within their communities. The project enables young people to contribute to a more peaceful society, acknowledging that they can be key agents of change in our society.

 

On Thursday 7th September 2017 Erne Integrated College Principal, Jimmy Jackson-Ware accompanied Year 12 students Trinity Ceighton and Steven Murray to the MAC in Belfast.  The students were presented with a copy of the Erne Integrated College Peace Pledge by HRH Prince Harry at the event.  Mr Jackson-Ware said that the students were excited and felt very honoured to have had the opportunity to meet the Prince.  Trinity and Steven feel like celebrities as they were interviewed by UTV news which was broadcast on the Thursday 6pm news.

 

Erne Integrated College is looking forward to playing an active role in Amazing The Space 2.
